She has also been involved with politics for many years now, so it’s natural that people would favor her over someone like Trump who just started running for office recently (although technically speaking he’s been doing this since 2004).
- Barack Obama – This former president ran his campaign on hope and change; voters believed that electing him would improve their lives by providing better healthcare coverage and higher wages as well as reducing racial inequality through legislative action such as strengthening gun control laws or establishing same-sex marriage rights nationwide (which has since happened).
